Community Tute 03 - Modifying field names
1. Start Access and open the database we created in the last tute, select the 'Tables' tab and the 'Main Table' object then hit the 'Design' Button.
2. This is the design view of the 'Main Table' where you can delete, add and modified field names of the tables in your database. Its ok to change the names and field properties in this database without modifying other objects. If you are modifying a fully designed database you must change the names throughout the database, manually so be careful & always backup 8).
3. Now select the 'City' field and insert a new row by click on 'Rows' under the 'Insert' menu.
4. Modify the fields in the table until it looks like the one below or to download it
click here.
5. Under 'File' select 'Save' then select 'Close' and your done modifying the table design.
